Banco Macro continues conducting the "Macro Bici" Program in the Province of Salta

Salta, October 16, 2015. Banco Macro continues conducting the "Macro Bici" program in the Province of Salta, this time by inaugurating the "Parque del Bicentenario Macro Bici" whereby it will donate more than 90 bikes and accessories to this landmark site in the Province where sports outdoor and family activities are promoted.

Three bike stations will be installed to hold 30 bikes each, and ten parking stations will be placed across the Park.

The bikes shall be delivered at an event held on Friday, October 16th at 12:00 midday at Parque del Bicentenario. The event shall be attended by the Governor of the Province, Mr.Juan Manuel Urtubey and the President of Banco Macro, Mr.Jorge Horacio Brito.

As in the case of cities worldwide that attract a high volume of tourists, a station shall be installed where bikes shall be available for use free of charge. This initiative has several circuits that will allow getting around the city in a different manner.

As from 2014 Banco Macro has donated more than 1450 bikes in the frame of the "Macro Bike" program, which is already implemented in Tilcara and El Carmen (Jujuy), Cachi, La Caldera and San Carlos (Salta), La Falda and Villa Giardino (Córdoba), Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza), Posadas and San Ignacio (Misiones), Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza) and will be shortly implemented in Villa General Belgrano (Córdoba) and Iguazú (Misiones).
