The alliance will enable taxi drivers to receive credit or debit card payments
from their passengers
Buenos Aires, December 21, 2016.- Cametax (the Chamber of Taxi Driver) entered an alliance with Banco Macro, Todo Pago and Claro that will allow Cametax members to charge taxi fares to their passengers by credit and debit card payment, as well as the possibility of affording Wi-Fi to their passengers.
Thus, they will be able to offer technological solutions and means of payment that allow for fast, secure and financed payment, thus increasing bankization of transportation fares and providing the benefits involved in cashless payment.
Taxi-drivers who are members of the Chamber will be entitled to several exclusive benefits:
